Our client requires an experienced and results-driven Interim Operations Manager to lead and manage several manufacturing plants in the east of Spain
Our client is a leading European manufacturer and global supplier in the Health and Personal Care sector, operating multiple production sites across 5 continents. Its Spanish facilities serve as strategic hubs exporting to over 50 countries worldwide.
Our client requires an experienced and results-driven Interim Operations Manager to lead and manage several manufacturing plants in the east of Spain. This key leadership role will involve overseeing daily operations, driving process improvements, ensuring safety and compliance, and optimizing overall production efficiency.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards across both facilities.
Objetivos:
The Operations Manager, reporting directly to the General Manager, will be responsible for the overseeing day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring that production goals and KPIs are met on time and within budget, along with:
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards, maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
- Manage inventory control and supply chain operations, ensuring timely procurement of materials and minimizing downtime.
- Track and report on operational performance, including production metrics, cost control, and quality assurance.
- Lead and mentor plant management teams, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.

REQUISITOS:
The ideal candidate should have proven track record of successfully managing multiple plants or large-scale manufacturing operations, along with good leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement processes, and production management.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements in manufacturing.
- Language: Fluent in Spanish and English, French is a plus.
