Interim Production Manager - Spain
The client requires a mid-senior level Interim Production Manager to lead their industrial plant in Spain, being responsible for the management, supervision and optimization of the production.
Our client is a leading multinational company as a global supplier in chemical sector that operates several factories across 5 continents. Its Spanish site near Barcelona is a key global factory, exporting to more than 50 countries.
The client requires a mid-senior level Interim Production Manager to lead their industrial plant in Spain, being responsible for the management, supervision and optimization of the production activities of the plant with respect the legal regulations on social matters, safety, hygiene, environmental protection, the international standards ISO and the Group's management principles.
Objetivos:
The Production Manager, reporting directly to the General Manager, will be responsible for the coordination and control of the operations of the plant and the employees with regard to production, quality, safety, health and environmental and economic parameters, along with:
- Promotion and assurance the application of internal procedures, national laws and ISO 9001, 13485, 14001 standards.
- Assurance the efficient use of allocated human, economic and technological resources.
- Collaboration with the maintenance/projects manager in the planning of maintenance operations.
- Collaboration with the Head of Supply Chain/Logistics regarding compliance with production schedules.
- Collaboration in the improvement and optimization of the production process with the support of the Technical Assistance to the production.
- Assurance the consistency and correctness of data in the internal management system (SAP).
- Assurance the proper functioning of the HR process by carrying out the annual interviews of its employees, the Job Descriptions and updating the skills matrix useful for the implementation of the training plan.

REQUISITOS:
The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in lean manufacturing and production management, along with good leadership, assertiveness skills, excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities
- Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Consolidated experience in roles of similar responsibility within multinational or otherwise modernly organized realities, focused on batch production and compounding
- Familiarity with the production technologies typical of chemical processes.
- Solid knowledge of the main methodologies of Lean Manufacturing.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is essential.
